Eight years ago, Andrei decided he wanted to see more art on social media. Today, he and his business partner Cody Braun run the biggest network of #artbots on Twitter. Through their proprietary software, Andrei and Cody have built a community of 5.6 million art lovers on Twitter. Today the duo is working on a bot platform for the web3 NFT world, which can be used by NFT projects to quickly launch automated bots.

Dara has built a few different projects with the Twitter API, such as a tool that can turn Tweets into the now retired Fleets format, as well as a bot that allows users to chat about a Space that they are participating in. He has also done a great job of representing the platform in the Nigerian community.

Harmon is currently the main contributor to the Tweepy Python library. He not only helps to keep it up to date with the latest v2 launches, but has also helped to maintain a Discord server that hosts conversations around the library. He found his way to this project via his work on a Discord bot to programmatically broadcast Tweets in Discord channels.

Started working on Twitter APIs during my PhD in Computer Science, implementing breaking news event detection and recommender systems for journalists, and spend time contributing to many other academic projects, most notably twarc. Jamie Maguire is a Software Architect, Developer, Microsoft MVP (AI) and Pluralsight Author. He is passionate about using AI and technology to help advance systems in organisations and many industries. Jamie is an active contributor to the technology community and has gained global recognition for articles he has written and software he has built.

He is the founder of the social media analytics and productivity platform Social Opinion and maintains an open source SDK that makes it easy for Microsoft.NET developers to use the Twitter API v2. Jamie is also a STEM Ambassador and Code Club volunteer, inspiring interest at grassroots level. He shares his story and expertise at speaking events, on social media and through podcasts and interviews.

He has co-authored a book with 16 fellow Microsoft MVPs demonstrating how Microsoft AI can be used in the real world and regularly publishes material to encourage and promote the use of AI and .NET technologies. Janique-ka John was born and raised in St.Vincent and the Grenadines, where she first fell in love with computers and computing. During her bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of the West Indies Cave Hill she discovered her love for programming and went on to pursue a Masters Degree in Applied Computer Science. She has been working in Brussels as a Software Engineer for the past 4 years and is also the Founder of the Women in Tech Caribbean Community.

Redouane has been a Twitter API developer since 2018. After using similar scripts over and over again, he decided to build out a Java library called twittered, which he actively maintains. He later went on to create a few bots, one of which has gone viral with ~20k followers. 

Terence Eden is a technology expert with a focus on open standards. He is an open source coder, open data publisher, and freelance security consultant. He was formerly the UK Government's representative to the W3C. He speaks around the world on open standards, open source software, and open data. Ryan Gallagher is an academic researcher that studies how individuals use online communication networks to amplify their voices. To do so, he makes advances in network science and text-as-data methodology to measure polarization, misinformation, and other online phenomena. His research frequently works with Twitter data, and he develops open-source tools to make it easier to manage social media datasets collected around focal events.

Somraj Saha is a freelance software developer. While not working on client projects, he spends his spare time developing & maintaining Free & Open Source Software (FOSS). Stefan is a bot wiz. He has created several bots, including one that paints and posts a robotic Pollock painting programmatically, and another that will hypnotize you with different swirling colors. More importantly, he is the creator of botwiki.org, a multi-dimensional tool aimed at educating people on how to create bots, and hosting an index of existing bots on the platform. 

V comes from the video game world, and has become a leader in the creative bot space. They once heard a friend note that – to be able to create a bot, you had to be a developer – and wanted to challenge this assumption. In response, they developed the Cheap Bots, Done Quick framework, which has enabled the creation of 10s of thousands of bots. 

Velda Kiara is a software developer and our very active community lead in Nairobi, Kenya. She has proven to be an effective lead, having organized a bot challenge. She has also authored educational content on the Twitter API, and will be speaking at PyConKE on the Twitter API a little later in 2022.
